Now living in: Ballinamallard, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland Height: 1 m 67.5 cm/5 ft 6 in Weight: 59.5 kg/131 lb Rookies Cup record 2007: Qualified for the 2008 Cup through the initial Selection Event at the Sachsenring then the Paul Ricard Final. Motorcycle experience: 2003 Started Minimoto racing at ‘North West 200’ event. (4th in first race) Polini Won first race in September ‘03’ at ‘East Strand, Portrush. Few have started earlier than Josh who's first machine was a Suzuki 50cc quad at the age of 2 years 7months. At 3 years 6 months Josh got a Yamaha PW50 was on two wheels and aiming to follow his father Julian, himself a road racer. Fellow Irishman Jeremy McWilliams has been of great help and inspiration to Josh and indeed Josh rides with Jeremy’s old race number, #99. His nickname 'Jossi' is a nod to Valentino and he enjoys rugby, soccer and water skiing. |
